Kelly Nyks - Writer/Director/Producer
A writer/director of short and feature length films, Kelly initiated the coast to coast investigation. The undeniable need for a civic pulse taking and electoral snapshot is the genesis for his first documentary. He is also a successful actor and has appeared in numerous feature films including Waiting in Beijing, Drowning and Legally Blonde.
Kelly currently has several narrative and documentary features in development including a 17th century historical drama set in Taiwan, and an investigation of the influence of money in our political system.
Peter Hutchison - Writer/Producer
Producer and co-writer of Split, Peter Hutchison is a NYC-based producer and filmmaker. He developed “What Would Jesus Buy?” – a documentary exploring the work of anti-consumer activist and performance artist Reverend Billy – before joining forces with Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me”) as a producing partner. He also co-produced the independent narrative feature “Drowning”.
Peter’s experience in film production spans nearly a decade. He is currently a producer on “Awake Zion” – a doc which explores reggae music, and the curious connection between Rasta and Judaism.
Jeff Beard - Producer
Jeff has been extremely active in the Los Angeles independent film scene for the past 6 years. In 2004, the crowd favorite "Refund" screened at AFI FEST, which he produced and his college friend Hutch directed. In 2007, he produced Paul Todisco's indie sci-fi feature, "One Day Like Rain", which world premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival.
Under his Molecular Entertainment shingle, Jeff has several projects in development with filmmaker Marc Fusco and fantasy author Peter S. Beagle. Jeff graduated from the University of Oregon's School of Psychology in 1999.
Jared Scott - Editor/Co-Producer
In television broadcasting, he has edited/co-produced a slew of on-air promos at BBC America for top rated shows such as Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, Top Gear, Primeval, MI-5 (Spooks), Doctor Who, Hotel Babylon, Newsnight and BBC World News America. One of his BBC America spots was featured in the best of cable at PROMAX in May 2008.
He was the Producer, Director, DP and Editor of the independent feature documentaries Friends of Calnali and Nachos For Two. He also served as the DP for the documentary Mr. Philadelphia produced by Raw Media.
